A Letter from Our Pastor
Dear Connect Church Family,
​
When we planted Connect Church in the fall of 2018, we never realized all that God had in store
for His church. We serve a God who is “able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or
imagine” (Ephesians 3:20). Hundreds of people have come to faith in Jesus over the past 5 years.
We have watched and celebrated hundreds take their next step in their faith through baptism.
The Lord has been so good to Connect Church.

Our heartbeat remains strong, we desire above all to make much of Jesus and to connect
everyone with the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ. Our vision is clear; we are going to
love God, love people, and make disciples. As our community grows, the church must grow
as well. With tens of thousands of people still without a church home across our community and
many thousands of people without a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ, the work
and mission of Connect Church have never been more important and have never been more urgent.

Our church continues to grow. We are starting to average over 1,000 each Sunday on campus.
Parking spaces are full and the Connect Kidz area is nearing capacity. The multiplying of our services
will help create some more space to continue to grow and reach people, but it is not a long-term fix.
We need a new home!
​
This Five Year Vision: Phase Two booklet contains our plans for the next phase of our vision which is
centered on building our new home debt free. The mission behind this effort is found in the
teachings of Psalm 78, that the generations may know Him. One thing is for sure, without HIM,
this is impossible. There is also another certainty that we know to be true: we need you!
Together, we will continue to pray like never before, share the gospel like never before, serve like
never before, and give like never before!

We are ready to move forward as a church, to take hold of the vision that has been cast, and
to continue to connect everyone with the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ!

A Glimpse at the Five Year Plan
People. People are at the heart of our mission: connecting everyone with the life changing
Gospel of Jesus Christ. People aren’t the means to an end. They are the end. They are the goal.
Each item behind our five year plan focuses on reaching as many people with that life changing
gospel. As we continue to work hard to connect everyone with the life changing gospel of Jesus
Christ, we also continue to dream, to plan, and to look towards the future. Below is a glimpse
into the next five years in the life and ministry of Connect Church!

During the first two years, we identified land that will be the future home of Connect Church
and Connect Christian Academy. God showed up and showed off! Not only did we identify
the land, we purchased the land debt free! God is good!
​

Now that land has been purchased, we are working with architects to help us cast the vision
of a future home for both Connect Church and Connect Christian Academy. We are launching
a 1-2 year giving campaign to raise money to build debt free.
​

​
We desire a home for Connect Church to be constructed by 2026. We also desire to launch
Connect Christian Academy within the Connect Church main campus.

WHERE WE'VE BEEN
Connect Church purchased over 25 acres of land near the Sevierville/Pigeon Forge city line right in the heart of Sevier County.
Connect Church made the purchase for 2.38 million dollars. All of this was done debt free!

Between Veterans Blvd. and Middle Creek Rd, in Sevierville, TN. There is over 1,000ft of road frontage on Veterans Blvd. and around 500ft of road frontage on Middle Creek Rd. We are 1 mile from the Ridge Outdoor Resort and 1.5 miles from Dollywood.

The parking lot and building in light orange is what we desire
to be built within this five year vision of Connect Church.
The medium orange and red buildings would be future expansion.
A HOME BUILT
Here is the potential floor plan of Connect Church and Connect Christian Academy. This plan is not finalized, but a glimpse into the future. Connect Kidz and CCA will share space. Connect Kidz will meet on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. CCA will meet throughout the week during school hours.

PRAY
Pray that God will prepare His church for future ministry. Pray for the leadership of the church, designers, architects, and everyone involved with the project.
"Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Talk to others. Share our social media posts, but most importantly, share the gospel. There’s still more to be accomplished from our neighborhoods to the nations!
